How does it work?
Our CO₂ recovery unit captures off-gas from dry ice production plants or other high purity sources and converts it back into liquid CO₂ for reuse, enhancing efficiency and reducing waste. The process begins with compression, where the CO₂ gas is pressurized. The gas is then cooled and transformed into liquid form through a liquefaction step, and finally, it undergoes purification to ensure high-quality, reusable CO₂. Storage Tank Pressure Control
By connecting a gas line between the client storage tank and our unit's storage tank, the recovery system ensures pressure in the client tank is effectively controlled and stabilized. This bidirectional pressure management ensures consistent performance for your dry ice machines, enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining optimal conditions for the storage and use of CO2.
CO2 Gas Dryer System
A gas dryer can be added, to control the moisture content or the pressure dew point of the CO2 gas before liquefaction. This is too ensure that the liquefaction skid can work correctly and that the liquid CO2 meets quality standards.
Energy Efficiency Package
Solveno Technologies' patented energy efficiency package reduces the plant’s energy consumption by +/- 10%. The energy recovery unit recovers part of the energy set free during the expansion process to produce electrical energy which is immediately consumed by the plant, thereby lowering the overall energy consumption.
